**Electrician **with mechanical experience to join their technical team

If you’re confident, independent, and pay great attention to detail, this could be the perfect fit for you As part of your role, you’ll be responsible for daily planned maintenance in a mechanical environment, conducting preventative maintenance routines, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs on both mechanical and electrical equipment. You’ll also need to provide service based on production requirements.

To be considered for this position, you’ll need to be a qualified Electrician with a Red Seal Certificate, and you must be comfortable working shifts and being on standby. Having your own transport is a must, and experience in repair circuit levels with PLC programming and fault finding is essential. Knowledge of electrical systems ranging from 12v to 380A and pneumatics is a plus, along with welding experience.

We’re seeking someone who can work who has excellent fault-finding skills, and can work efficiently under pressure. A matric or equivalent certificate, an N3 Electrical certificate, and a minimum of three years relevant experience (excluding apprenticeships) are also necessary.
