**POSITION : SALES PERSON IN PAINT & SALES PERSON IN PLUMBING**

**9 FEBRUARY 2024**

**REQUIREMENTS**:
1. MUST have a Matric Certificate OR equivalent NQF 4 certification (Attach a copy)

2. Have basic Paint product knowledge (Attach certificates)

3. Must have worked in a Hardware Retail Store and MUST have Paint OR Plumbing product Knowledge (include in CV)

4. Possess at least 3 Hardware Product training Certificates

5. MUST have background of ± 3 Year’s Hardware Retail merchandising/sales experience

6. Have shown intermediate Sales Techniques

7. Ability to read, write and count.

8. Possess good communication skills.

9. Ability to work independently and as a team player.

MAIN DUTIES:
1. Attend to customers in a professional and helpful manner

2. Generate sales, ensure customer satisfaction, by providing excellent customer service

3. Control stock levels and doing regular stock count

4. Determine customer requirements and advising on products, price, delivery, warranties and product use and care.

5. Advise customers on range of products, which product would be best; in order to satisfy the customers’ needs

6. Place stock orders with buyers when required

7. Assist with the ongoing management of stock such as product inventories and conduct regular stock takes

8. Attend to relevant admin tasks including up-keep of customer book, special orders file, forwarding of invoices and other relevant paperwork

9. Ensure merchandising is done according to company’s merchandising standards and products are priced correctly
