**Job Description**:

Function/Department : Information Technology (IT)
Position Title* & Location : ARC Analyst, South Africa/UK/Spain
Position Purpose:
As part of the Audit, Risk & Compliance (ARC) team, the Audit, Risk & Compliance Analyst will support audit, risk and internal IT compliance strategies, methodologies, and policies across Brambles. Primary focus will be working across the various IT divisions to evaluate whether IT risks to the company are identified and minimized, and acceptable internal controls and procedures are followed.
Major/Key Accountabilities:
Strategic Planning
- Assist Brambles IT Senior, Audit Risk and Compliance Manager on the ARC Strategy with the design and implementation of effective maintenance and enforcement of IT policies, processes and controls, based on industry-standard best practices.
Policy, Legal, Compliance
- Support design and implementation of Information Classification Policy across IT
- Recommend changes in IT policies, processes and controls in accordance with changes in global, local or federal law;
- Support IT risk and compliance activities related to third-party vendor due diligence.
Operations
- Support delivery of ongoing reduction of actions resulting from internal and external audits;
- Support development of metrics to reduce and report reduced IT risk; and
- Support development and execution of annual review of compliance to Brambles IT Policies, Processes and Controls;
- Oversee and report on the remediation of IT security risks, IT compliance risks and IT vulnerabilities within the enterprise while informing the Global IT risk register.
- Participate in the IT audit process and support IT audit recommendation to closure.
- Support IT Senior, Audit Risk and Compliance Manager to hold IT teams accountable for the delivery of Audit activities and actions in their specific areas, and for any mitigation points they may have.
- Led the development and manage Audit, Risk and Compliance tool, ensuring new functionalities or fixes are implemented in a suitable time in accordance with the functions needs.
Lead the tracking and reporting of the management actions ensuring completeness and accuracy of the data
Qualifications:
Bachelor and Master degree required in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field of study.
Experience:
Required mínimal of 6 months of professional experience with Information Security, Risk Management, and Privacy practices or Policies, including:
- National and International Regulatory Compliances and Frameworks such as NIST Cyber Security, ISO, CoBIT and ITIL; and
- IT business process knowledge and acumen.
- Threat, Vulnerability, Business Continuity, and Risk Assessment
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Advanced computer skills - Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Visio.
- Dashboarding skills desired - PowerBI or similar
- Ability to manage own workload and set priorities with little supervision.
- Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and handle tight deadlines.
- Ability to function effectively in stressful situations/circumstances.
- Ability and desire to learn new skills.
- Can work in a close team environment / strong team player.
- Experience in multi-facility, international organizations.
- Experience in diverse multi-cultural, corporate cultures.
- Must possess drive for excellence and a get-it-done attitude.
