**Job Purpose**: Inspect, repair and fabricate aircraft composite structures and components on company and customer aircraft.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform typical maintenance operations such as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torquing, adjusting rigging, and safety wiring, including powerplant and flight control removal and reinstallation.
- Repair, modify, replace or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness.
- Fabricate parts as required and have knowledge of metal and alloys and where substitutes may be used.
- Perform standard maintenance tasks, inspection, and cleaning as required including electrical, electro-pneumatic and equipment on both car and locomotive
- Be skilled in use of all related hand tools such as pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic, and measuring instrument
- Layout and perform complex structural repairs that are addressed in the repair manuals and engineering documents.
- Knowledgeable of the proper use, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers.

**Requirements**:

- Aircraft Composite Structures qualification
- Aircraft Metalwork Theory qualification
- Ability to operate safely all ground support equipment, (i.e., Main Lifts, Scissor Lifts, etc.) and possess the Company operating certification.
- Able to do hot bond repairs with Heatcon hot bonders
- Able to do metal prep and metal bonds on the wing with hot bonders
- Able to co-composite material hot bonds with hot bonders

Pay: R20,000.00 - R45,000.00 per month
