Technical Buyer

As a project driven company, we are seeking a hard-working and skilled **Technical Buyer** to join our Procurement Team.
- Prepare Request for Quotations for Suppliers as per request.
- Source consumables, parts, spares, equipment and services as per request.
- Evaluate quotations received in accordance with requirements, prices, specifications, quality and availability.
- Negotiate prices, lead delivery time on orders placed or to be placed
- Generate Purchase Requisitions and/or Purchase Orders.
- Expedite purchase orders placed form suppliers in accordance with deadlines set, urgency and Leadtime
- Maintain accurate supplier data base

**Qualifications**
- Grade 12
- Diploma in Suply Chain Management or equivalent
- 2-3 years related experience in a fast-paced technical environment

**Additional Information** Key skills required**:

- High quality of work is carried out and ability to meet deadlines
- Competency in Microsoft packages
- Knowledge of purchasing practices and principles.
- Attention to detail orientated: quality and precision focused
- High ethical standard
