Instrument Technician

Stefanutti Stocks Inland Electrical, requires a Instrument Technician to join their team, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the safe instrument installation and Meggering of instrument cables. Calibration and fault finding of instrumentation systems in accordance with project and construction specifications.

Primary duties will include**:Technical**
- Interpret Instrument hook-ups.
- Instrumentation calibration
- Meggering of instrument cables
- Loop checks
- Interpret data sheets.
- Inspect & sign check lists.
- Interpret connection diagrams.
- Red lining of instrumentation drawings
- Interpret MFD's
- Interpret ISO's
- Function Checks
- Fault finding on instrumentation systems.
- Compile calibration reports
- Compile instrumentation certification

**Operational**
- Daily Diaries, restraint lists & extra work lists
- Adhere to and enforce Company Policies & Procedures
- Timeous completion of allocated work
- Liaising & Client Relationships
- Planning and 10-day look ahead.

**Safety**
- Housekeeping

**Quality**
- Quality Control Procedure Compliance
- As-build drawings and redlines.
- Punch Lists

**Policies and Procedures**:

- Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Will be required to do work within your abilities from time to time that is outside the Job Description as detailed above.

**Preconditions**:

- Instrument Mechanician Trade Certificate.
- 3 Years experience as an Instrument Mechanician
- 3 Years experience as an Instrument Technician
- Knowledge of instrumentation design
- Sound knowledge of instrumentation design and installation.
