**Job Opportunity: Assistant Storeman**

**Location**: Parow

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Storeman to join our dynamic team at our factory in Parow. If you have a passion for organization and efficiency, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Order Picking and Packing**
- Accurately pick and pack orders in line with dispatch schedules and customer requirements.
- Ensure all items are properly labeled and packaged for safe transport.

**Stock Control and Inventory Management**
- Maintain precise records of all dispatched goods.
- Perform regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies in stock levels or damaged goods to the Storeman.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.
- Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage during loading.

**Coordination with Other Departments**
- Work closely with the Storeman team, Factory Manager, Supervisors, and Project Managers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Keep accurate documentation for all dispatched goods, including pricing on job cards and delivery receipts.
- Update inventory systems with relevant dispatch information.

**Quality Control and Safety**
- Ensure that all dispatched goods meet the company's quality standards before leaving the premises.
- Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling goods.

**Customer Support**
- Assist with customer inquiries regarding dispatch and delivery times.
- Provide support to delivery drivers as needed.

**General Warehouse Duties**
- Help with additional warehouse tasks, such as housekeeping and organizing the dispatch area.
- Support the Storeman with any other tasks as required.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Reside in Parow or nearby.
- A clear criminal record.
- A qualification in Dispatch will be considered an advantage.
