Our client is a specialist engineering and project management consultancy (EPCM) specializing in providing cost-effective, bespoke engineering, technical and processing solutions in the mining and related industries.

They are looking to appoint a Piping Draughtsman with strong Autodesk Plant 3D experience within the mineral processing industry.
- The piping draftsmen sets up, develops, and maintains Plant 3D project specific software settings including piping specifications, equipment catalogues and drawing sheets.
- The piping draftsmen models process plant piping systems in the Autodesk Plant 3D environment based on plant block flow diagrams (BFD’s), process flow diagrams PFD’s, piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID’s) and, piping line class specifications provided by design engineers as well as overall plant models as prepared in other Autodesk AEC Collection software packages, most notably Autodesk Advance Steel.
- The piping draftsmen prepares, annotates, and checks the automatically created piping isometric drawings to internal company standards.
- The piping draftsmen prepares Plant 3D reports including line lists, valve lists and material take off information for bills of quantities for capital cost estimates and procurement processes.
