**Job description**

**Retail and Architectural Sales Executive - Cape Town, Western Cape**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics and superb interpersonal skills, have ethics and integrity.
Previous experience in a sales role is a requirement.

**Responsibilities**
- Present, promote and sell products to existing bathroom specialist retailers
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Maintain regular call cycles with retailers
- Maintain regular meetings with professionals (architects, interior designers etc)
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Co-ordinate sales efforts with team members, marketing programs and other departments
- Analyse and act upon the territory/market’s potential, track sales and find beneficial solutions for sales growth
- Admin is a requirement and you will provide weekly reports to management on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of new products and trends in our industry
- Conduct regular product training for retail salespeople
- Maintain client records
- Consistently strive to meet or exceed sales goals
- Develop strategies to grow sales

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 certificate
- 2 - 5 years proven work experience as a sales representative calling on retailers or professionals
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- Able to do cold calling in the professional field and understand the dynamics to achieve results/develop a relationship
- Be willing to do site visits for contracts to establish requirements and be able to make informed suggestions to suit customer needs
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changing business environments and company requirements
- Business-like attire is a requirement
- Must follow company procedures and policies
- Must be service orientated with a good reputation for quick response time
- Attend weekly team meetings
- Drivers Licence and own Transport Essential
- Travel/overnight country trips form part of this role

**Minimum experience**

Relevant experience is required with a proven track record of working in Sales. Ability to communicate, perform under pressure, have excellent time management skills, presentation skills and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
