**TAX CONSULTANT**

A vacancy exists in the Pietermaritzburg office of a national firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors for an experienced Tax Consultant to commence duties as soon as possible.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Handling Tax, VAT and PAYE Audits
- Liaising with clients and SARS regarding the above mentioned Audits
- Assessments
- Ensuring that letters are sent to Clients for payment
- Training Tax Administrator or Article Clerks when required
- Monthly billing
- Dealing with all Tax related queries that may arise

**Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- Bcom Degree
- Post Graduate in Taxation would be advantages
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)

**Behavioural Competencies**
- Must pay attention to detail
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Analytical skills - must be able to compile and analyze reports
- Able to meet deadlines and be innovative in a highly pressurized environment

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: From R12 000,00 per month

- Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal: Relocate before starting work (required)
