**Qualifications**:

- Matric
- N6 / Diploma in Engineering
- Red Seal Trade Certificate in Fitting/Fitting and Turning

**Experience**:

- 5-10 Years’ Experience in a Maintenance Environment as a Technician with Asset Care Experience

**Duties**:
**OHS Act Compliance**:

- Ensure Statutory compliance

**Responsible for MTTR & MTBF analysis**:

- Identify problematic equipment
- Determine AM & PPM focus areas
- Review Work Order & Schedule Compliance
- Review Resource Utilisation
- Review critical, PPM & AM spares lists
- Review and analyse 5-Why analysis
- Advance problem solving and collaboration with Reliability Engineer
- Paricipate in root cause analysis investigation
- Execution of reliability improvement projects

**Budget Control / Cost Management**:

- Approve purchase orders within certain cost limit
- Obtain quotations from external service providers 5S
- Drive 5S principles
