Join Buhle Waste in furthering our passion for managing waste and environmental cleanliness. We are seeking to appoint a Driver at our Mpumalanga Branch in Whiteriver on a fixed term contract.

**About the role**:
You will be ensuring the safe loading, offloading, picking, and packing of medical waste containers as these are delivered and collected from various customers such as Hospitals, Pharmacies, Doctors and safely delivering such to the designated medical waste disposal facilities.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Physical ability in performing the duties and completing the relevant documentation and reports as may be required.

Valid Driver’s license, with a PrDP 'D' which indicates transport of Dangerous Goods and infectious Substances.

Must have matric certificate.

Able to use digital like scale, scanners, and smartphone.

**Responsibilities**:
Compliance with all legal requirements in safely handling medical waste and hazardous goods and ensuring the safety of others.

Assist in the accurate recording of all aspects related to delivering and receiving of goods.

Loading, transporting, offloading consignments at designated delivery and collection points in accordance with policy and procedure.

Cleaning and maintaining of all working equipment and vehicles, ensuring any spillage of material is cleaned in accordance with policies and procedures.

Maintaining all health and safety protocols and reporting any deviations thereof.

Take orders from office or Driver.

Must be willing to work shifts and travel long distances.

Overnight when doing longer distance collections and deliveries.

Must be able to work in a team.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R1,871.14 per week

- White River, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

License/Certification:

- Code 10 with a PDP transportation of Dangerous Goods (required)

- Overnight Shift (required)
