**ROLE PURPOSE**
Manufacture, assemble, install and repair steelwork required for mining operations according to the Kamoa standards.

**Process**:
- **Manufacture, assemble and install pipes and steel work according to requirement and design**_
- Obtain the necessary permits and collaborate with Operations and Engineering
- Obtain the materials, equipment and tools
- Organize and arrange pre-made parts and materials
- Shape and fabricate parts and structures
- Assemble and install the end product
- Inspect and perform tests for any defects or leaks as well as quality
- **Repair and alterations to infrastructure, vehicles, machinery and equipment**_
- Obtain and understand requirements / requests
- Understand the requirement as well as how equipment/vehicles/machinery is being used and to eliminate repeat breakages
- Plan and prepare solution to not impair functioning of equipment/vehicles or machinery
- Obtain the materials, equipment and tools
- Repair or replace parts, using required equipment, tools, and torches
- Inspect and perform tests for any defects or leaks as well as quality

- Identify the different types of pumps
- Investigate breakdowns and provide feedback to supervisor
- Obtain guidance from specialists
- Repair or replace the pump depending on the breakdown
