Plant Manager

A great mining company in Limpopo is seeking the expertise of a Plant Manager to join its team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Legal accountability in terms of Mine health and Safety Act regulation 2.6.1;
- Operation of metallurgical processes in line with SHEQ standards, policies and procedures;
- Drive and sustain compliance of Tailings Storage Facilities to the Global Industry Standards on Tailings Management (GISTM);
- Champion a desirable work culture in line with the company values within area of responsibility;
- Contribute to the development and review of the business plan;
- Provision, allocation, and control of the required resources to deliver on the plant business plan objectives;
- Effective collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders;
- Research and implementation of carefully considered safety, cost, and process improvements;
- Support the development and growth of plant employees.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Degree in Extractive Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering
- 7 - 10 years experience in a plant environment
- 3 years experience at managerial level
