As a Senior IT Technician, you’ll contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance procedures and technologies. Working under pressure and managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines will be second nature to you, complementing your extensive technical expertise.

**What you will do in this role**

As a Senior IT Technician, you will:

- Resolve issues assigned through the IT Helpdesk, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Diagnose and address faults reported by customers, ensuring mínimal downtime and disruptions
- Provide support to the IT department and contribute to IT projects as needed, actively collaborating with team members
- Ensure adherence to predefined service level targets, consistently meeting or exceeding expectations
- Collaborate with stakeholders, service providers, suppliers, and clients to effectively resolve issues, maintaining strong professional relationships
- Perform daily maintenance checks on server infrastructure to proactively identify and resolve potential issues
- Report and escalate issues as necessary, ensuring proper attention and resolution
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, actively seeking opportunities to enhance IT services and infrastructure
- Continuously update and maintain documentation related to IT practices, configurations and troubleshooting procedures
- Provide clear and concise communication to all levels of the organisation, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while analysing faults reported from the business via phone and internet

**Your qualifications and experience**

Concentrix is a great match if you have:

- Strong experience in Microsoft Server Operating Systems (2012-2022)
- Proficiency in DHCP, DNS and Active Directory
- Familiarity with Linux (advantageous)
- Knowledge of Nutanix and VMware (advantageous)
- MCSA or equivalent certification/experience
- In-depth technical understanding of IT services
- Proficiency in supporting Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of networking technologies
- Familiarity with Telephony ACD systems (e.g., Avaya, Aspect, Genesys) is desirable
- Proven problem-solving experience in technical areas
- Extensive experience supporting users in a large business environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the organisation

**Eligibility to work**
