**Minimum requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years of working experience in the industry and/or a minimum of a 3-year post-qualified experience in SHEQ.
- NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
- Environmental Management systems qualification or equivalent.
- Legal liability training.
- Excellent HIRA skills.
- Investigation training and experience.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- SHER operations control and Planning.
- Risk assessments, hazardous task identification, and analysis of all controls including aspect and impacts management.
- SHER Inspections and audits including department SHER Files.
- SHER Incident and nonconformity investigations and reporting.
- SHER mandatory training requirements include employee, contractor, and visitor inductions.
- SHER Operational contractor control including contractor SHER files.
- Chair SHER Committee meetings.
- Pre-employment medical surveillance and exit control.
- Manage personal protective equipment requirements.
- Emergency preparedness and response.
- Waste control and environmental monitoring.
- Occupational hygiene survey, recommendations, and actions are taken.
- On-site Clinic management.
- COID reporting.
- Operational inspections and planned maintenance.
- Nonconformities, corrective, and preventative action.
- SHER Operations and operational control reporting.
