**Job Description**:

- The Shift Leader manages the effective functioning of a shift from a production, equipment utilisation and labour perspective, and highlights performance deficiencies and solutions.

**You will also be responsible for**:

- Effective operation of the section to agreed business plan and quality parameters
- Achievement of production and safety targets
- Good employee relations. Building of effective team
- Implementation and management of safety standards
- SHEQ management audit compliance (inspections, PTO’s,
training done -planned VS actual, etc.)
- Support the overall operational management of the business unit
- Asset Management

**This role is in the Processing department at a band C5 reporting to the Process Overseer.**
- Qualifications
- NQF 4 Matric with Maths and Science
- Completed Supervisor Development Program

**Experience**:

- 10 years’ work experience in Process, of which 3 years you were a supervisor.
- Smelter experience will be advantageous.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Computer literacy in MS Office SAP will be advantageous.
- Passed all requirements as per the skills matrix
- Valid driver's licence
