**Responsibilities**:

- Source, assess, and curate a diverse range of products that align with our E-Commerce platform's identity and customer preferences.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, pricing, and conditions.
- Utilise market research and data analysis to anticipate consumer trends and make informed buying decisions.
- Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans in alignment with our business objectives.
- Monitor product performance, sales trends, and customer feedback to optimise the product assortment.
- Manage inventory levels, ensure timely replenishments, and prevent stockouts.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and stay updated on emerging market trends.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships, addressing any issues that may arise.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely product deliveries and inventory management.
- Implement pricing strategies to maximise profitability while offering competitive prices.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and seasonal initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, ethical sourcing, and sustainable practices.
- Generate reports and provide insights to management regarding product performance and purchasing strategies.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Buyer in the E-Commerce or Retail industry.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build and nurture supplier relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and consumer behaviour.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented approach and accuracy in managing purchasing documentation.
- Creativity in selecting products that resonate with the digital consumer base.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of ethical sourcing, sustainability, and market compliance.
