Property Safety

You will be responsible for managing the organization’s safety and security functions, as well as develop and/or amend broader safety strategies in an effort to address the larger safety issue on and around Philippi Village. The HOCS will also perform a support function to the Head of Operations and work closely with the Stakeholder Engagement department.

**Education and Experience**:

- Matric Pass
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, emergency management, or related field

Project management/Tenders
- At least five years of safety and/or security experience required.
- Advanced training or certification in safety and security preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in security management, community safety or a related field.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- Develop and/or amend safety and security strategies on site;
- Work with the CoCT, Law Enforcement and any other line departments to address and/or partner on safety initiatives, projects and similar;
- Conduct performance evaluations for security staff;
- Coordinate and offer support to the security manager
- Support on daily operations of the security team; and
- Support the Community Engagement Liaison with rolling out stakeholder engagement strategy and any functions pertaining to community safety or security in and around Philippi.

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Philippi, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Health & Safety: 4 years (preferred)
- Tenders: 3 years (preferred)
