**The IIE Varsity College, Westville Campus has a vacancy for a Plagiarism Officer (Independent Contractor)**

**Key Performance Areas**:

- The Plagiarism Officer will work with the Information Specialists to promote good referencing practices.

- Ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Strong ability to interpret and follow policies and procedures

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree with English as a major or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with English as a major and a PGCE with English as a specialisation.

**Minimum Experience Required**:

- Previous teaching experienced is essential
- Knowledge of Plagiarism practices and the Harvard Referencing Style is essential
- Knowledge of APA and Legal Referencing styles (footnotes) would be advantageous.

**Working Conditions**:

- Please note that this is a fixed term Independent Contractor position (March - July 2023) with a possibility of the contract being extended further thereafter.
