**Post **Doctoral Research Fellowship 2024**
**Faculty of Education**

**ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA**
- Open to South Africans and foreign nationals for full-time research at the University of Fort Hare.
- Preference is given to South African citizens and permanent residents
- Young and emerging scholars
- Graduated with a PhD degree in a relevant discipline within the last five years.
- Successful applicants may not hold full-time salaried employment during the fellowship.
- Successful applicants must be able to relocate to the UFH for the duration of the fellowship.

**THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO**:

- Conduct innovative research on institutional culture and the student experience at the UFH
- Author/co-author at least three (3) publication outputs per year in the form of DHET-accredited scholarly journal articles or books/chapters in

The postdoctoral research fellow shall reside in East London to access facilities at UFH East London Campus and participate in relevant activities of the School of Postgraduate Studies.
