Assistance in completion of additional tasks that the Risk Management Division is or may become responsible for.

Risk Appetite and Tolerance reporting and monitoring.

Investigation of breaches in risk appetite and tolerance of risk metrics.

Stress Testing*

*
Perform monthly stress tests of the loan book and deposit book which consider the consequences of all risk types.

Perform quarterly earning and margin contractions.

*
Incorporate available market and bank specific information into stress scenarios.

*
Perform reverse stress tests on risk metrics.

*
Perform a trend analysis on stress tests conducted and inform business of any significant impacts identified during stress tests.

*
Expected Credit Loss Calculation*

*
Assist in the calculation of stage 1 and stage 2 expected credit losses.

*
Assist in the creation of models to streamline business processes relating to ECL calculations, such as provisioning models.

*
Assist in resolving auditor queries relating to expected credit loss.

*
Assist in providing the relevant disclosure required for the annual financial statements.

*
Ensure the model documentation is updated.

*
Assist in the assessment of stage 3 provisions.

RDARR*

Assisting with tasks related to implementation of the RDARR project, as allocated by the RDARR project manager.

Reporting*

Prepare reports for Board and subcommittees. This includes risk reporting packs, returns, presentations, etc.

Assist with preparation of SARB reporting requirements.

Assist with preparation of other reports where required.

Assist in the creation and enhancement of risk reports.

Perform assessments of system reports to identify gaps.

Ensure new loan and deposit products are correctly included in system and manual reports.

Assess supporting schedules received for packs for accuracy, completeness and compliance with regulations.
