**ABOUT YOU**
As a Veterinary Nurse, you will be provided opportunities to develop your skills to support the teams in providing the best care to animals during
- and post-surgical procedures, supporting patient care, and maintaining hygiene, equipment, and care and facility standards. You will have the opportunity to perform routine dentals and discharges, take X-rays, manage weight clinics, and perform nurse consultations. This is done in supportive environments where we provide continuous development opportunities while working as part of a team.

At TAH you are never alone. There are always vets, nurses, AH Ts, and other support staff available to encourage and help you develop and maintain high standards of care. Positivity, professionalism, being a team player, and a desire to learn are more important than experience as we can teach you a lot of what you need to know. You must be registered with the SA Veterinary Council (SAVC) and we encourage especially new graduates to apply.
