Junior Foreman

We looking for a junior foreman to work for our client in the construction industry. The junior foreman role assumes supervisory responsibilities over workers, materials and plant on a section of the work. The work entails working to programmes and deadlines as agreed with the senior foreman. The job presumes communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.

**Requirements**:
Experience in borehole drilling
Experience in construction, water and plumbing management
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
Allocate general and daily responsibilities
Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
Resolve problems when they arise
Matric
Engineering qualification
At least 2-3 years building experience - site based (in the Gauteng area).
Min three years related experience in the construction/engineering environment
Drivers licence
Computer literate
