**CASHIER**

Nature of contract l Fixed Term

Our client based in Athlone, is a leading wholesale retailer, that seeks to employ a Cashier to join their team.

**Key duties include but are not limited to**:

- Taking customer's payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment
- Maintain an awareness of all company promotions and advertisements and process them correctly
- Ensure debit cards and credit cards are handled correctly
- Daily cash ups
- Pack purchase items in shopping bags
- Responsible for housekeeping of work area
- Assisting with design and customisation of 21st keys
- Assist with orders and customer specifications for certain products
- Assist with customised balloons

**Qualifications and experience needed**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a cashier
- Grade 12
- Reside in or around Athlone
- Clear credit and criminal record
- Basic numeracy skills
- Sober habits

Contract length: 2 months

- Athlone, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
