**Boilermaker**

Lomeza Group (Pty) Ltd is looking for a skilled and goal driven Boilermaker, who will be based at Kalagadi Manganese Mine in Kuruman.
- Grade 12 or N3 equivalent.
- Trade Certificate.
- Knowledge of MHSA and OHSA.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Competent Person B will be advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience as Boilermaker or similar role.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Proficiency in reading drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Basic Rigging will be advantageous.
- Ability and fitness to work at heights.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and the use of welding and cutting equipment.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.

**Responsibilities**
- Fabricate, assemble, and install parts for trailers.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications specific to trailer -manufacturing.
- Use a variety of tools and machinery, including welding equipment, to ensure precision and quality.
- Lead a team and oversee projects to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- install platework, steelwork and other large steel structures using technical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform various welding techniques.
- Use cutting torches and other equipment to shape and fit metal components.
- Conduct inspections of steel
- and other structures to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
- Perform pressure tests and other diagnostic procedures to verify the integrity of the installations.
- Carry out maintenance and repair tasks on existing structures, ensuring they continue to operate safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in safety training and meetings.
- Work effectively with other trades, such as fitters and riggers, to coordinate project tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of fabrication, installation, maintenance activities, and safety inspections.
- Reports completed to required standard.
- Contribute to project audits with regards to policies, procedures, and systems.**Education**:

**Experience**:
