**Job Title: Newspaper Journalist**

As a Newspaper Journalist with The Rising Sun Newspapers, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing news articles to inform and engage our readership. You will cover a variety of topics, from local events and community issues to national news, providing insightful analysis and accurate reporting. The role involves attending events, conducting interviews, and staying up-to-date with current affairs to deliver timely and compelling stories. You will collaborate with editors, and other team members to ensure the highest standards of journalistic excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough research on assigned topics.
- Attend events, interviews, and press conferences to gather information.
- Write and edit news articles in accordance with editorial guidelines and deadlines.
- Collaborate with editors and other team members to enhance story quality.
- Stay informed about current events and industry trends.
- Utilize multimedia elements, such as photos and videos, to enhance storytelling.
- Adhere to ethical standards and principles of journalism.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a journalist, preferably with experience in newspaper reporting.
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent research and investigative abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, when necessary.
- Familiarity with digital media tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of media law, ethics, and journalistic standards.
- Passion for storytelling and a commitment to delivering accurate and unbiased news.
