Essential Requirements:

- ESSENTIAL: Are you currently (or very recently) a Clothing Buyer within a Fashion Retail or Clothing Supplier Company?
- ESSENTIAL: Do you have 2 YEARS (or more) experience as a Clothing/Fashion Buyer?
- ESSENTIAL: Have you successfully completed a Fashion related Degree or Diploma?
Brief Job Duties Outline:

- Range Development and Product sourcing
- Finalise and approve buys for seasonal ranges
- Develop and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers/customers
- Determine and set budgets with Planners
- Regular communication with the Sales Department
- Trend Forecasting and Trend Analysis - local and overseas
- Understanding the future trends and interpret them into assortment plans
- To build and maintain personal relationships with key decision takers on highest possible levels and leverage own senior management higher up
- Administration
- Assist with the Preparation for the post seasonal laydown
- Preparing briefs, specs and cads
- Negotiating the prices and fabrications with suppliers
- Budget management and OTB control
- Research about target market and competitiveness
- Track market conditions and price trends
- Management and organization of samples

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R24,000.00 per month
