**Job Purpose**:
Manage technical supply projects from market research, sourcing, quotation, purchase, procurement, logistics, inspection and invoicing up to the client satisfaction survey

**Responsibilities / Duties / Job Skills**:
**Manage purchase and procurement for technical supply projects and identify supply business development opportunities**
- Identify or clarify the client requirements with the potential assistance of the Project Manager
- Negotiate and obtain prices from relevant suppliers for Project and stock related requirements
- Populate Project Tables with the various supplier options based on the Bill of Materials, highlighting the best options from a price and delivery perspective
- Elaborate the technical and commercial proposal to be sent to the client
- Work with Accounts department to prepare and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers
- Follow up on deliveries from suppliers to ensure deliveries are on target
- Check and confirm receipt of goods match the technical requirements and quantities ordered and make sure documentation is received and recorded for traceability.
- Assist with the control, management and follow-up of company and client Imports/Exports
- Participate to new supply projects prospection with existing and new clients
- Prospect on supply portals to identify supply RFQ’s to develop 3CMB supply business

**Manage the relationship with suppliers**
- Create relationships with the long term/reliable suppliers to ensure the best service and delivery is guaranteed
- Arrange and Maintain Long-Term Purchasing Agreements and relationships / Agencies
- Explore and source new Suppliers when needed
- Audit and check suppliers to ensure they meet the Technical and Product requirements
- Manage, maintain and develop the Supply Items List on the Company Inventory System (Pastel)

**Coordinate and manage logistics requirements for supply projects**
- Prepare and process the necessary custom documents for import and exports in relationship with freight forwarders
- Manage the expediting of orders and deliveries
- Assist with customs clearance for exports (Delivery notes/Invoices and Packing lists/Transfer of Ownership documents/Delivery Advice)
- Maintain all inward and outward documents for customs and audit requirements
- Coordinate with the workshop to ensure the proper inspection and packing of materials for export

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, quality, legal and regulatory company requirements

**Knowledge / Qualifications / Experience**:

- Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or in Supply Chain / Purchasing /Procurement with at least **5 years’ experience in purchase and procurement of technical material and equipment’s for Steel Industry (Structural & piping material in all range of industrial material grade, valves, measurements, tools, spares, machinery & parts)**:

- Knowledge of Import and Export procedures, Incoterms, HS Codes & Customs duties and documentation
