Agricultural Technician

Our client in the agricultural industry is looking for an Agricultural Technician to join their team.
- Work with colleagues and customers to determine the possible source of machinery problems and define what issues need to be solved.
- Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations on machinery to identify issues and recommend a list of parts to be quoted on.
- Train a team of technicians on auto-guidance systems, correct servicing procedures as well as complex fault-finding procedures.
- Making use and logging of Technical Help Desk and Parts Helps Desk Queries and training technicians where to find technical manuals.
- Utilize technological devices to complete diagnostic tests of mechanical and electrical systems
- Carry out services as per Case IH standards according to the service manual.
- Performing Pre-Delivery Inspections correctly and to factory standards ensuring the correct documentation SOP is followed.
- Ensuring the correct warranty procedures are followed on any warranty job.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on working machinery to ensure proper upkeep
- Assist with advice on special tooling needed.

- Maintain detailed records of each machine or vehicle, included any maintenance, inspection, or repair services performed
- Ensure projects are completed effectively and on time
- Ensure the correct Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times
- Ensure all company equipment/tools are kept in a clean and serviceable condition at all times
- Any other duties as described by the Service manager

Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/advanced degree in Agriculture or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Advanced Excel and data management skills
- Experience working as Agricultural Technician an will provide an added advantage

**Salary**: R500,000.00 per year

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
