SFG Engineering Services has the following permanent position available in the **West Coast** with a well-known steel Company:
**Electrical Technicians -**

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
S4 Electrical Engineering or an Equivalent Qualification as per the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and RPL - SAQA would be considered.
A minimum of **5 years’ experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment.**
Instrumentation experience will be an added advantage.

**Basic/Brief Job Functions/Responsibilities**:
Electrical Maintenance.
Electrical Systems Upgrade.
Must be able to Setup, Program and do Fault-finding on S5/S7 Siemens PLC, Siemens Master Drives and Intouch HMI systems.
Involved in the smooth running and optimization of the plant.
Must willing and able to perform standby duties.
Must have a valid driver’s license to perform standby duties and get to work.
Positive with energetic attitude; highly self
Positive with energetic attitude; highly self-motivated; good communicator; good “work ethic”; good fault-finding problem solving skills, able to work in a team as well as individually and must have sober habits.

- electrical or manufacturing background: 5 years (required)

- Setup, program on Siemens PLC: 5 years (required)
- Intouch HMI systems: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Code 08 and own vehicle (required)
