Robotics Technicians

**Job Details**:

- Department TCF- Minimum experience Associate- Company primary industry Automotive- Job functional area Engineering- Salary R500 000 - R680 000 per annum-
An international automotive manufacturer in Pretoria is looking for Robotic Technicians (Electrical/ Millwright) who will be responsible to maintain robotics equipment and/or related automated production systems while ensuring equipment uptime by reducing Mean Time To Repair and proactively planning preventative measures.

**Key responsibilities includes**:

- To maintain the facility by completing all scheduled /planned Maintenance - 100% completion
- To identify all corrective maintenance activities and have a proactive approach - 100% completion
- Manage/ effective approach to Emergency Maintenance downtime
- Effective Root Cause Analysis toward downtime
- Responsible approach to all Safety Standard Regulations
- Total Maintenance of all TCF( Trim, Chassis, and Final Line) equipment, fault finding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controlled circuits, and the modifications thereof
- Focus on constraint areas to eliminate the constraint
- Ensure Production uptime within departmental objectives.
- Ensure safety compliance at all times
- PM, CM scrubbing
- 4D reporting on MFM
- Assist Artisans with problem-solving and repairs of problematic equipment in their related field
- Modifications to PLC software circuits, Siemens PLCs are used in the TCF department
- Ensure Equipment Availability is at 98%
- Analyse Top Constraints and solve issues using 6-SIGMA Methodology

**QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE**
- 4 to 10 years experience of robotics systems and equipments
- Minimum N6+ Trade test in Millwright/Electrical/Mechatronics.
- National Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechatronics is an advantage
- Proficient in robot maintenance, repairs, programming and fault finding.
- Excellent understanding of robot programming and process outcome correlation.
- Programming and Fault Finding experience in Siemens PLC’s, SEW Drives, and Kawasaki Robots.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA)**
- Fault-finding ability
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite. Excel competency
- Siemens PLC fault finding and programming skills.
- Kawasaki Robot fault finding and programming skills.
- HMI -fault finding and programming skills.
- SEW Frequency Drive fault finding and programming skills.
- Fault finding skill and knowledge on filling machines (Optional)
