Series Producer

We seek to employ a seasoned series producer with a proven television production track record in producing a daily live children's variety television show.

**The duties will be**:
To serve as the highest ranking producer on the children's daily live show.
To execute the show's overall strategy, with guidance of the channel's commissioning editor.
To lead the recruitment and performance management of all the production's freelance and fixed term personnel, including technical and content teams as well as on-air talent.
To manage the production's operational budget.
To continually ensure that the production is of the highest possible standard from both an artistic and a technical point of view, within the available budget.
To maximise continual cost efficiencies.

**Qualifications**:
A bachelor's degree or comparable work experience.
Extensive track record as a senior producer in live television production.
Extensive experience in productive children's television.
Deep and demonstrative understanding of early childhood development, content development and production frameworks.
Deep and demonstrative understanding of tween and teen content development and production frameworks.

**Qualities**:
Excellent leadership skills.
Exceptional collaborative skills.
Good attention to detail.
Must be fluent in English.
Must have native language fluency in the multiple South African official langauges.
