The Retirement Benefits Counsellor will assist the IMSOR team with telephonic engagements particularly language engagements as and when required. The role will be split between administration duties and telephonic counselling when requested by the team. What will you do?

**Administrative Duties**: Manage IMSOR mailbox and communicate to the relevant internal or external team members Log referrals to the relevant teams using Elite Wealth Proactively follow up on referrals with relevant team Proactively provide feedback on referrals to the relevant administration teams Communicate with relevant PE Human Resources as requested by the funds Perform administrative tasks as needed by the team

**Counselling Duties**: Assist members with support during onboarding, and provide support to beneficiaries and members regarding risk benefits through What will you do? (continues) Telephonic and written counselling, information, and support Technical product knowledge of retirement funds and retirement-related investment products Technical knowledge of risk benefits such as death, disability and critical illness Creating a positive client experience Effective and technically competent resolution of queries and complaints Maintain and improve in-house systems and business processes Collaboration and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders Efficient administration Dealing with complaints efficiently and fairly Qualification & experience Relevant tertiary qualification (related to financial planning) Minimum 2- 3 years’ relevant administration skills Minimum 2 - 5 years’ experience dealing with clients within an Employee Benefits and/or Financial Planning environment (advantageous) Minimum 2 - 5 years’ experience dealing with risk benefits in an Employee Benefits and/or Financial Planning environment (advantageous)
Knowledge and Skills Investment Industry Knowledge Risk and Employee Benefits knowledge Business knowledge and analysis Client Communication Compliance and Risk Management monitoring Reporting and Administration Must be able to communicate in most Northern Languages: Sepedi, Sotho, Venda, Tswana, Tsonga etc Personal Qualities
