**ELECTRICIAN**

**(ROMANSBAAI FARM, GANSBAAI, WESTERN CAPE)**

**Aqunion (Pty) Ltd** is a dynamic, growing company that farms South African abalone for the Asian market. The company currently has two farms and a processing facility in the Overberg Region. We have an exciting opportunity available for a self-driven, competent **Electrician **who has a passion for excellenceto be based in Gansbaai**.**

**Primary purpose of position**:
Assisting the senior electrician with all electrical related maintenance, repairs and continuous improvement of the electrical reticulation network.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Electrical, Repairs and Maintenance;
- Projects : Planning, procurement and costings of new electrical projects;
- Stock Control: Keep stock of all critical electrical components;
- House-Keeping;
- Staff supervision;
- Compliance to electrical regulations, Standard Operating Procedures and Occupation Health and Safety act.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Senior Certificate and relevant electrical qualifications;
- 3 Years experience in the electrical field;
- Good written and oral communication skills with fluency in English;
- Computer literacy;
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport;
- Willingness to be on duty, standby and work after hours if required;
- Contactable references;
