**Job Purpose**
- To execute the overall client pricing strategy through governance and pricing support. Delivery of the end-to-end pricing requirements for Transctional Services whilst driving for profit maximisation, deal wins and deal commitment tracking.**Responsibilities**:
**Function specific**:

- Ensure revenue leakage is minimised through effective pricing processes.
- Ensure the governance process is adhered to for refunds.

**Financial**:

- Deliver on the product P&L to achieve the agreed financial objectives by ensuring competitive and sustainable pricing within TS and CIB.
- Conduct targeted annual pricing reviews and budget gap fulfilment.
- Identify and execute on pricing opportunities to grow TS CIB primary banker status, portfolio optimisation and ensuring commercialisation.
- Manage the end-to-end client pricing and profitability of all products and value added services within the portfolio.

**Customer**:

- Perform client pricing benchmark exercises for product CVPs around the end-to-end value chain to ensure pricing is in line with business objectives.
- Ensure to consolidate the end-to-end client pricing and profitability of all products and value added services within the portfolio.
- Leverage off sector insights to provide effective client pricing.

**Pricing management**:

- Create visibility of the client profitability and insights for use by stakeholders within the Cluster.
- Develop client profit optimisation models, using GOI (NII & NIR), credit losses, costs (understanding fixed and variable) to identify initiatives that will improve profitability.
- Make use of quantitative and advanced descriptive and predictive analytics methods to ensure profitability, market competitiveness, transparency and value to clients.
- Collaborate across TS, cluster and juristic to achieve the distinctive client-centred pricing strategy.
- Perform benchmark exercises for the development of insights and sector pricing into product and channel strategies and continuously provide feedback loop into product and sales.

**Stakeholder Management**:

- Participate in pricing committee meetings to foster collaboration and increase the ability to test and learn in commercializing new ideas and pricing strategies for deals.
- Ensure collaboration with stakeholders for commercialisation, compliance, people, technology, support, operationalisation, value management and servicing.
- External & Internal stakeholder management through effective reporting and communication across Nedbank.
- Risk, Internal Audit & Compliance:

- Communicate insights, risks and mitigation strategies to relevant committees (timeous, accurate, informative and complete reporting).

**People**:

- Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression opportunities for self with input from management.
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree
- Preferred Qualification- Post graduate degree in Statistics/Mathematics, CFA/ FRM/CQF- Minimum Experience Level- 5-8 years’ experience in a similar or related industry**Technical / Professional Knowledge**
