Shift Setter

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Shift Setter to join our client's team in the packaging industry. As a Shift Setter, you will play a vital role in setting up and operating packaging machinery to ensure efficient production and adherence to quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and set up packaging machinery for production runs
- Ensure all machinery is in good working condition and meets safety standards
- Monitor production processes to detect and troubleshoot any issues
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machinery as required
- Change over packaging materials and make adjustments as necessary
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet specified requirements
- Record production data and maintain accurate documentation
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate production activities

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Shift Setter in the packaging industry
- Knowledge of packaging machinery and processes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- High level of safety consciousness
