- Co-ordinate and carry out Fitting work assigned to Department.
- Reading & Writing complete reports on a daily basis such as Planning sheets, Job cards and Time
- Maintenance of machinery, i.e. Vertical Borer, Mill Machines and Lathes etc.
- Request equipment, materials and consumables as required within limits of authority
- Undertaking other duties that will improve the working environment or assist other areas needing
- General Fitting & Hydraulics, General Turning
- Earthmoving Equipment
- Knowledge of Carbon steels, Stainless Steel, Phosphorus Bronze.
- Trucks & Trailers
- Boiler Making
- Fabrication
- Boring
- General milling
- Keyways
- High precision machining
- Speeds and feeds
- Knowledge of Carbon steels, Stainless Steel, Phosphorus Bronze.
- Computer Literate
- Repair/maintenance background.
- Heavy Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years in the Hydraulic industry
- Red seal certificate
- SA Driving License
