**Responsibilities**:
**_Main Purpose_**
- The Business Capability Associate, located in Cape Town, is responsible for supporting the Business Capability Manager (BCM) in the Pioneer Specification Management team. This position will assist the BCM in the tracking of metrics and KPIs on specification deliverables, provide support to facilitate effective planning and performance reporting on the implementation of the specification management program. This role _

**_Accountabilities_**
- _ Review supplier questionnaire, communicate with suppliers/brokers to address any outstanding questions, coordinate with TDC disciplines as needed to complete specifications_
- _ Ensure all specification requests are processed, documented, and delivered within defined project timeline_
- _ Create reports on KPIs and SLAs as needed; ensure all requests are processed, documented, and delivered within defined SLAs_
- _ Support and coordinate issue resolution and escalation of concerns as necessary_
- _ Manage and follow up of weekly, monthly and quarterly progress_
- _ Manage tracking and regisers and uploading into relevant systems_
- _ Liaison with Global Procurement to schedule and monitor information requested from suppliers/brokers/agents_
- _ Participate as necessary on UAT for relevant systems._
- _ Coordinate with SDSA and IT for system related matters - needs, change requests, tickets, UATs and issue resolution related to systems._
- _ Support simplification, standardization, and digitization efforts_
- _ Identify potential areas for process improvements and make recommendations to Business Capability Manager for continuous improvement_

Qualifications:
**_Key skills / Requirements_**
- _ Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Consumer Science, Food Chemistry, Microbiology, or equivalent relevant experience required_
- _ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite_
- _ Good communication skills - oral and written (e.g. communication on telephone, external and internal to PepsiCo, managing with other support group functions, etc.)_
- _ Ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities and projects requiring a high degree of organizational and communication skills to ensure requests are delivered in a timely manner_
- _ Exceptional data organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy_
- _ Self-motivated & demonstrated ability to take initiative on projects_
- _ Fluent in written and spoken English_ _
- _Collaborative skills and strong interest in working with others across time zones; Ability to build relationships and work closely with both internal and external partners_
