- We are assisting our client, a catering company, in finding a Baker to bake menu items using standardized recipes for a school. _

**Key Requirements**:
Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen/food production experience
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high pressured environment
Can do basic costings on baking items
The ability to work neatly and cleanly, keeping work areas and walk-ins in accordance with sanitary standards.
Operate within budgetary guidelines and keep waste to a minimum.
Bakes menu items using standardized recipes in a timely and efficient manner that minimizes waste and ensures quality and customer satisfaction.
Cleans and inspects equipment, appliances and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operations.
Compiles and maintains production records of food use.
Knowledge of methods, procedures and quality standards relating to basic production
Ability to successfully uphold quality and consistency in all items prepared and delivered
Make sure all goods look presentable to eat, nicely decorated and must have an eye for detail
Ability to come up with new ideas
Ability to ensure current trends in the baking industry
