**Job Title: MORTGAGE PROCESSOR**

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Application Review.

**Document Collection**:
Collect all necessary supporting documents, such as income verification, credit reports, property appraisals, and other relevant paperwork.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

**Communication**:
Maintain regular communication with loan officers, borrowers, and other involved parties to provide updates on the loan status.

Address any issues or discrepancies in documentation promptly.

**Data Entry and Processing**:
Input accurate information into the loan processing system.

**Coordination**:
Collaborate with underwriters, appraisers, and title companies to facilitate the underwriting and closing processes.

Address any conditions or additional requirements specified by underwriters.

**Compliance**:
Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations governing mortgage lending.

Stay informed about changes in lending laws and regulations.

**Quality Control**:
Conduct quality control checks on loan files to identify and rectify any errors or discrepancies.

Work with the underwriting team to address any outstanding conditions.

**Customer Service**:
Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries from borrowers and addressing concerns throughout the loan process.

**Qualifications**:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field is a plus).

Proven experience as a Mortgage Processor or in a similar role within the mortgage industry.

Knowledge of mortgage loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using mortgage loan processing software and related tools.

**Salary**: From R142,88 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
