The responsibilities of Corporate Lawyer will be but not limited to:
- Prepare the appropriate legal documents.
- Evaluate new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings.
- Design and oversee the company’s policy and position on legal matters.
- Protect the company against legal risks and violations.
- Examine the legal issues related to new products and services.
- Negotiate deals on behalf of the company.
- Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Carrying out due diligencefor the identification of legal risks and liabilities.
- Giving guidance on legal compliance, which may include laws of security, antitrust and foreign investment.
- Structuring the M&A deal, accounting for business goals, tax implications, and other legalities.
- Assessing legal risks and suggesting strategies for mitigation (which might include legal processes, representations, warranties, and other protective measures).
**Job Types**: Part-time, Commission
Part-time hours: 2-3 per week
**Salary**: R1,000.00 - R1,000,000.00 per year
