Factory Assistant

Manufacturing Company based in Tongaat is looking for a Factory / Assistant urgently.

To assist in daily tasks with the factory / warehouse / office work.
- Daily and month end stock Take
- Sorting out the floor on a daily basis, tidying and weighing, bagging all the waste and keeping in

designated areas.
- Receiving and offloading of raw material as and when required.
- Loading and dispatching of stock.
- Ensuring that the Raw material stock levels are checked on a daily basis and report to manager for ordering purposes.
- Assisting the electrical / mechanic on breakdowns on machines
- Ensuring that all requirements (paperwork and stock issues) are supplied on a daily basis on the production line.
- On absenteeism of an operator, must be willing to work on the production line when required.
- Health and Safety - ensuring housekeeping on daily basis.
- Ensuring that the factory is sanitized in the mornings.
- Must have Electrical experience
- Any other general/office assistant.
- **Man Spec**_
- Minimum Grade 12, but recognition for prior learning will be given
- Previous experience in manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Forklift licence essential
- Electrical qualification (advantageous) or solid electrical experience
- Factory and Warehousing experience

- Must have own reliable transport

**Salary**: R43.00 per hour
