Join Our Team as an Infrastructure Architect (Networking)

Our team thrives on tackling complex challenges and crafting cutting-edge infrastructure solutions that propel our business forward. We are looking for a talented Networking Infrastructure Architect to join our ranks and play a crucial role in shaping our infrastructure landscape.

Position Overview:
As our Networking Infrastructure Architect, you will lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive infrastructure architecture roadmaps that are tightly aligned with our business goals and enterprise strategy. You will set and enforce architecture standards across all domains—cloud, security, network, server, and storage—ensuring consistency, security, and efficiency throughout our enterprise. Your expertise will drive the integration of new technologies, optimizing performance and managing risks, all while ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- BSc Computer Science (Essential/Minimum or)
- BSc Information Technology (Essential/Minimum or)
- B Degree (Hons) (Relevant) (Essential/Minimum)
- Management Development Programme (Recommended/Desirable)

**EXPERIENCE**:
6-8 years’ experience in Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture and Technology Architecture, with Project Management experience in the Information Technology/Information Management environment. Expertise in architecting, designing, and implementing complex, scalable, and high
- availability infrastructure solutions. Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, M365, AWS and hybrid cloud architectures.) (Essential/Minimum) (Operational)

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (Essential/Minimum)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (Recommended/Desirable)
- Open Group Architecture Framework Founda (Recommended/Desirable)
- CompTIA Cloud+ (Recommended/Desirable)
- Project Management Professional (Recommended/Desirable)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (Recommended/Desirable)
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (Recommended/Desirable)

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Ability to:

- Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive infrastructure architecture roadmaps aligned with business goals and enterprise strategy.
- Define and enforce architecture standards and guidelines across all enterprise infrastructure domains (cloud, security, network, server, storage) to ensure consistency, security, and efficiency.
- Drive the integration of new technologies and systems into the existing infrastructure, focusing on scalability, performance optimization, and risk management.
- Ensure architecture decisions are implemented consistently across the organisation to support the business strategy following an Enterprise Architecture framework.
- Conduct integrated enterprise infrastructure systems analysis such as performance analysis and identifying bottlenecks and recommend enterprise infrastructure solutions to support overall business objectives.
- Support, resolve, and document architectural issues.
- Oversee the performance, standards, and strategic direction of the enterprise infrastructure architecture domain, ensuring alignment to organisational objectives.
