Junior Draughtsman

**Responsibilities**:

- Physical route surveys - Drive selected routes. Measure road furniture, overhead obstacles, width restrictions on road.
- Flying of a drone to measure up intersections.
- Use of AutoCAD to draw up intersections measured on site.
- Weighing of abnormal loads with mobile weigh pads.
- Liaison with provincial authorities
- Obtaining permission with local authorities for the movement of loads / Modifications on roads.
- Report compilation and production
- Adhoc duties as required
- Project management of cargo that needs to be moved.

Key Skills required for this position:

- Excellent communication and telephone skills.
- AutoCAD background - No formal qualification required
- Good computer skills especially with Word as report writing will be an essential component.
- Technical-minded / Problem solving
- Draughtsman / Engineer / Transport background would be advantageous

**Salary**: R13,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month
