- As Senior Software Engineer, you will be the driving force behind the success of our cross-functional analytics team. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and collaborate with business members of our agile team to ensure governance and best practices are maintained. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding the team toward excellence.
- Driving Business Buy-In: Your strategic insights and guidance will be instrumental in securing business buy-in toward analytics, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Establishing Best Practices: Work closely with our architects to ensure alignment between our analytical initiatives and the broader tech strategy. You'll play a key role in driving best practices in analytics as a business.
- Software Development: Develop high quality tools and solutions using modern SDLC and test-driven approaches that will enable our analytics initiatives. Your technical expertise will be essential to create a robust foundation for data-driven success.
- Run and Maintain Solutions: Ensure that solutions are kept up to date and run reliably in production following DevOps best practices. You will also support and optimize the design and performance of existing systems (written predominantly in Python, Go and Microsoft SQL).**Skills and Experience Required**:

- 8 years working experience as a developer or related software development role.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python or Go preferred but not required)
- Proficiency with SQL (preferably Microsoft SQL)
- Industry experience in software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes and test automation.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD, test automation and observability.
- Experience in architecting databases and building data pipelines/ETL processes would be advantageous**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science or related discipline
