**IVF Co-ordinator (Registered Nurse)**

Our client a leader in in the field of fertility, endometriosis & gynaecological endoscopic surgery, seeks to appoint an IVF Co-ordinator (Registered Nurse) for their busy medical and surgical practice. Previous experience within the IVF industry and gynaecological practice will be highly advantageous.
- **Requirements**_
- Registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse.
- Nursing Diploma or Degree
- Post Basic qualification will be advantageous
- Previous experience within an IVF environment will be highly advangeous.
- Thorough knowledge of general/ specialized nursing theory and practice.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a nursing professional.
- **Responsibilities**_
- The Clinical Nurse remains responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation of individual holistic care of patients.
- Assist with daily running of the IVF clinic, working with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure smooth running of the Centre.
- Obtain patients' consent, ensuring consent forms are signed as per agreed policies and procedures. Responsible for overseeing admission, management and nursing care of patients, before, during and after procedures, discharge and post discharge care.
- Manage the theatre to ensure all functions are carried out according to SANC regulations.
- Assist the clinicians and embryologists in the procedure room, as appropriate, adhering to agreed standard operating procedures.
- Theatre stock management
- Maintaining the safe custody of drugs in accordance with SANC guidelines.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and colleagues.
- Ensure equipment is left in good order, reporting any faults or hazards.

**Salary**: From R400 000,00 per year

License/Certification:

- Nursing Council registration (required)
