**Introduction**:
Our client in the waste management sector has an opportunity for a sales guru. The role will be based in Parow.

**Key role**:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for growing the client base, developing a sales pipeline, securing volume and reaching monthly targets.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- A formal Environmental or Waste Management qualification (or similar) will be an advantageous
- At least **5 years’ experience in the waste**/recycling** industry **of which 3 years should be in a sales capacity
- **Driver**’**s license with own vehicle;**:

- Willing to travel
- Microsoft Office Competence
- Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills;
- Can work quickly and accurately;
- Excellent Excel knowledge and experience;
- Must be punctual, organized, motivated and detail oriented;
- Ability to manage a multitude of projects simultaneously

**Primary duties**:

- Planning and actioning of cold calls, meetings and weekly sales reports
- Must be able to maintain and adhere to a practical sales strategy
- Sourcing of new customers as well as growing existing client base
- Build sound relationships with clients
- Site implementation upon successful sale of service offering, including hand over to relevant KAM
- SRE remains responsible for the performance and profitability of the account
- Resolve customer queries and complaints, as well as assist Finance Department with outstanding payment issues
- Generating and submitting reports timeously
- Attend meetings as required

**Salary**: Market related with a solid commission structure
