Oe Buyer

Grade 12
- NQF5 Certificate with 120 credits
- Previous experience in a similar role within a Automotive Manufacturing environment
- 3 - 5 Years previous Relevant experience in technical purchasing
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & ERP Systems exposure, preferably SAP) - Assessment will be conducted
- Valid Drivers license with necessary driving experience and own vehicle
**KPA**

**Optimum sourcing of components and materials**
- Research alternative sources, develop strategic commodity plan
- Customer satisfaction, expediting and develop action plans
- Provide cost estimates and benchmarking
**Administration**
- Systems development and maintenance
- Prepare purchasing reports
- Co-ordination of cost planning activities and purchase order maintenance
- Support to Senior Buyer
- Supplier stock report management
**Supplier Based Development**
- Monitor local supplier performance and ensure conformance to contractual requirements
- Build and maintain supplier relationships, supply timing and purchase research
- Management of Engineering changes (ECI), resource activities and localization activities
**Cost Management**
- Negotiate price changes requests
- Support company cost targers, budget preparation and budget control '

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
