Seamstress

Swift Garment Manufacturers is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Seamstress/Machinist to join our team. If you have a passion for sewing and possess expertise in operating sewing machines and creating high-quality garments, with over 6 years, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of our dynamic manufacturing environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate industrial straight stitch, coverseam, buttonhole, button stitch, industrial overlock sewing machines and other equipment to construct garments and related têxtile products according to design specifications.
- Read and interpret sewing patterns, technical drawings, and instructions to ensure accurate production.
- Cut fabric and materials according to pattern measurements and layout.
- Seam, stitch, and finish garments, ensuring precise and durable construction.
- Perform alterations, repairs, and modifications to garments as needed.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet the required standards.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets and maintain efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for sewing equipment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Seamstress/Machinist for min of 6 years with a strong background in garment construction. no chancers please
- Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and other relevant equipment.
- Knowledge of different sewing techniques, including hemming, stitching, and finishing.
- Ability to read and understand sewing patterns and technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong time management skills to meet production deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
